 2010 yılında Milan'da Avrupa Onkoloji Enstitüsü'nde Onkoplastik Cerrahi eğitimi aldı. 13 yıl Ali Osman Sönmez Onkoloji Hastanesi'nde özellikle meme cerrahisi konusunda çalışmıştır. 2009 ‘dan beri European Journal of Surgical Oncology dergisinin hakem kurulunda meme kanseri ile ilgili araştırmalarda görev yapmaktadır. Haziran 2012’ den beri Hayat Hastanesi Meme Kliniği Direktörü olarak görev yapmaktadır. Kasım 2012'de Avrupa Cerrahi Kurulu tarafından ONURSAL DİPLOMA almaya layık görülmüştür. Evli ve iki kız babasıdır.
